Apart from being difficult to play in DADGAD, this mode is not something very familiar to Western ears, and is perhaps the least useful of the modes for most players.  However it is an interesting scale which can open up some ideas for more Eastern musical sounds. This mode is also known as the Jewish Minor Scale in Klezmer music.
